Hare s Ear can be grown in all kinds of soil, in climates that are mild. In the spring, this shrub should be pruned back by about two-thirds.
Propagation of bupleurum.
Cuttings may be taken in July and inserted in a cold frame or covered with a bell jar or hand light. When rooted, the cuttings are potted individually in small pots, kept in a cold frame during the winter and planted outside in the spring.
